SOHS & Central Point’s “Made in Southern Oregon Fair”

Where: Pine Street, between 1st and 7th streets, Central Point, OR.

Scarecrow Making-Kit: non-SOHS Members, $20; SOHS Members, $15

Get your Scarecrow Making-Kit early! Saturday, September 9, the Southern Oregon Historical Society will have a booth at Central Point’s “Made in Southern Oregon Fair.” This is your opportunity to purchase a kit, make your scarecrow at home, then put your scarecrow in your field or garden to ward off unwanted ghosties and ghoulies!

OR . . . Enter your “made at home” scarecrow in SOHS Hanley Farm’s annual Scarecrow Festival’s “best-scarecrow” contest! To enter the contest, bring your scarecrow to Hanley Farm on October 28, between 9:30 and 10:30am. The Farm is located at 1053 Hanley Road (between Jacksonville & Central Point). The Festival will be October 28 & 29, 11am to 3pm each day.
