Death Cafe

A Death Cafe is a welcoming, open gathering where people can come together to talk about life, death, and the experiences and questions that come with both.

There’s no set agenda, just an informal, respectful space to share stories, ask questions and discuss the sometimes difficult topic of mortality in a way that brings connection and insight. Participants often find relief and understanding, allowing conversations about death to enrich and affirm their lives.

SOLADA offers four Death Cafes monthly at the Williams Library (First Tuesday 6-8pm); Ruch Library (First Thursday 6-8); Celia’s House in Medford (Third Wednesday 6-7:30); Grants Pass Museum of Art (Last Tuesday 5-6:30pm).
