Live music and more than 50 exhibitors and vendors top the festivities at the

Cantrall Buckley Park 50thbirthday party

From hot dogs, beer and wine, Applegate Valley history, native plants, and tractors to an abundance of arts and crafts, there will be something for everyone at the Cantrall Buckley Park Golden Jubilee on Saturday, July 14, 2018, from 11 am – 7 pm.

Headlining the live music scheduled throughout the day is The Brothers Reed, the folk-rocking duo from southern Oregon. Openers are Romancing the West at 11 am, followed by The Family Carr at 12:15, Sequoia at 1:30 pm, The Antonucci Collective at 2:45 pm, and The Rogue Trio at 4 pm. The Brothers Reed performs from 5 – 7 pm.

Food and drink vendors include Applegate Valley Lions Club tri-tip barbecue, hot dogs, and hamburgers, Las Palmas Mexican food, Black Acorn organic foods, Applegate Valley Oregon Vintners Association, Conner Fields Brewing, and Jack Frost Shaved Ice.

Other vendors include Dye Happy Tie Die, Illinois Valley Lions Club, Maya Teya Photography, Simply Beaded 4U, Southern Oregon Stitchers, Sterling Creek Wood Design, and many more.

Exhibitors include Applegate Neighborhood Network, Applegate and Ruch Libraries, Applegate Trails Association, Applegater Newsmagazine, KS Wild, McKee Bridge Historical Society, and Woodland Charter School, to name a few.

In addition to live music, exhibits, and vendors, the Kids’ Zone will have all-day activities like face painting and birdhouse building. Southern Oregon Geocaching and Pacifica’s Caterpillar mobile science learning center will also be there to entertain the children.

Admission is free; parking is $5 per car at 1470 Hamilton Road, with free shuttle buses available.

Bringing lawn chairs or blankets for seating is recommended, and carpooling is encouraged whenever possible.
