I hope this email finds you safe and healthy. As we try to navigate this journey we are all on together, I wanted you to know that the staff at Ruch Outdoor Community School remain committed to offering whatever services we can to you, your family, neighborhood, and business to continue what we all do best…taking care of each other. We are here for YOU.

Beginning Wednesday, March 18th the folks over at Indigo Grill along with other community partners will be serving a hot meal to all children age 12 and under every single day. This will be a “Grab and Go” meal and kids can choose from a selected menu. No child should go hungry.

If possible, call ahead and let them know how many you will need. We are also trying to figure a way to reach our senior citizens and providing a meal service to them. If you have any ideas, please email the school at  [email protected] and someone will respond to you. We welcome any ideas to serve this much honored population of the Applegate Valley.

ACCESS continues to operate outside of Ruch Outdoor Community School cafeteria on Mondays.

In anticipation that this closing will extend past April 28th, please know that the Medford School District is working on a plan to limit the disruption of learning as best we can. It may not look like the traditional method we are used to, but this is a time when we call on our creative minds? Everything will be alright.

Your teacher will be reaching out to you offering their services and resources after spring break. We miss you and all our students and can’t wait till we are able to meet again at Jumpstart and start our day together, in one room, greeting each other in such a way that sets a positive tone for the rest of the day.

Please reach out to me if you have any questions or ideas as to how we can get through this together. I appreciate the folks who have already started brainstorming ways to rise up stronger from this challenging time we are in.

Take care, go outside and BE WELL.
