Applegate Library Presents: Paint with Plants, 8+ YRS

Discover the beautiful world of natural colors right outside your door.  We’ll explore how to make watercolor from garden grown and foraged plants such as coreopsis, onions, beets, and oak gall. Then, we’ll experiment with changing each color by adding lemon juice (an acid) and baking soda (a base). Come make art with plant pigments!
