jb Palasini

jb is predominantly a figurative painter who combines elements of nature into allegories embodying strong archetypes. She continually studies flora, fauna, and the human form, using texture, contrasting ideas, and personification of concepts. She utilizes different techniques using acrylic paint to achieve a result that is layered and full of color and light.

jb received a BFA from the University of Mississippi and furthered her education through years of hands-on experience: traveling the country as a commercial muralist, curating and managing galleries, facilitating pop-up exhibitions, forming an artist collective, and producing commissioned portraits. She currently serves as the Artist Working Group Coordinator for the Applegate Valley with A Greater Applegate.
