Inspired by Ross Gay’s The Book of Delights, we invite you to create your own book to keep a record of the daily delights you encounter.
Join us at the library to decorate your own special Book, then use the practice of writing to develop a habit of noticing delights. Whether you jot down a quick observation, compose a poem, or write an essay, all writing is good writing. As your collection of delights grows, you may find it easier to notice small (and large!) things to celebrate as you go through your day.
Writing prompts will be provided if you choose to use them, both at the event and in JCLS libraries throughout the Rogue Reads season.
