Volunteers needed for Applegate School. As a SMART volunteer, you read one-on-one with a few different students (from preschool to 3rd grade) for 30 minutes each during the school year. SMART gives each child 14 new take-home books–two per month during the course of the program. For more information and to apply, contact the Rogue Valley SMART office at 541-734-5628.
