Migratory Bird Day at Provolt Rec Site

BLM is hosting an event for World Migratory Bird Day on May 17th at our very own, Provolt Recreation Site, located at 14171 Williams Hwy, Grants Pass, OR 97527 (across from the Provolt Store).  Guided bird walks will occur at 8, 9, 10, and 11 am. Various agencies and organizations* will be participating with educational displays—bird houses, native plants, northwestern pond turtles, pollinators, and dark skies—and family-friendly activities—a scavenger hunt, the Junior Ranger program, the bird Olympics, and a guided pollinator walk—from 9 am to 1 pm. Food and water are not available on site, so please pack for your family’s needs.
