Community Ofrenda, ALL AGES

Join us in celebrating Día de los muertos, Day of the Dead, a latinx heritage celebration, honoring our loved ones who have passed. Learn about the history and cultural significance of creating an ofrenda for Día de los muertos. Help your local library create a community ofrenda/ alter to remember our deceased loved ones by participating in various crafts (decorating picture frames, creating paper marigold flowers) to decorate the ofrenda, and if you want, bring a picture of your loved to be placed on the ofrenda. This program will be presented in both English and Spanish.
