In 2020, Sherry Neuman traveled to India with a Rotary project to provide immunizations for children. The trip included visits to the Taj Mahal, a nature reserve, the Khajuraho temples and other Rotary projects. This presentation offers an opportunity to achieve a greater understanding of this interesting and complex country.
Sherry Neuman is an infectious disease doctor whose career involved direct patient care in clinical settings with the Indian Health Service in Montana, VA hospitals in Phoenix and Reno as well as teaching medical residents at the University of Nevada. She moved to Jacksonville in 2010 and is an active volunteer with multiple organizations. She continues to find satisfaction in using her medical training in service projects. In addition, she is an avid traveler on both domestic and international trips.
