Wooldridge Creek Vineyard
Description
WOOLDRIDGE CREEK VINEYARD & CRUSHPAD CREAMERY is proud to be Oregon’s first combined vineyard, winery, and creamery. The vineyard is nestled into the hillsides near the Applegate River, which is within the Applegate Valley sub-AVA of the Rogue River winegrowing region. Ted and Mary Warrick first planted the vineyard in 1978 and named it after the Wooldridge family who first settled the area in the 1800s. For two and a half decades, Wooldridge Creek Vineyard’s grapes were sold to renowned wineries throughout Oregon. In 2005, they began making their own wine from their grapes, and the winery and tasting room were built on the property. The vineyard has been expanded over the Warrick’s 40 plus years farming the land, from the initial 18 acres to the current 52 acres and 12 different grape varietals. Eager to add to the tasting room guests’ experience, the Crushpad Creamery was established in 2015 to produce craft cheeses on site from locally-sourced organic milk. The sustainably-designed winery offers unparalleled mountain and valley views in a relaxed and unassuming atmosphere—the perfect spot to gather with friends and enjoy a variety of world-class wines, handcrafted cheeses, and locally-sourced charcuterie.
