Hike the Penn Butte Timber Sale units on Mule Gulch! May 22, 10:00 am.

ANN and Williams Community Forest Project will be leading a hike up Mule Gulch Road in Williams to commercial logging units proposed in the Penn Butte Timber Sale. This area is popular for hiking in the Williams area and contains beautiful old forests the BLM plans to log. We will be leading a hike a few miles up Mule Gulch Road to visit units proposed for logging. Hiking the units will require some off-trail hiking on steep slopes with downed logs and branches.

Meet at the Williams Grange and carpool to the trailhead.

Bring: Sturdy shoes, appropriate clothing, water, and food for lunch or a snack along the hike, or trekking poles if you need them for off-trail hiking.
