Paycheck Protection Program update:
9500 PPP loans have been approved for Oregon businesses, totaling almost $2.5 billion through April 13. Nationwide $258B of the $349B provided in CARES Act had been approved. Sen. Merkley’s office is maintaining a list of PPP lenders in Oregon: https://www.merkley.senate.gov/imo/media/doc/Lenders%20Accepting%20Paycheck%20Protection%20Program%20Applications%20in%20Oregon%20-%20Merkley%20Business%20Resource%204.14.pdf
Another round of Layoff Aversion funds has been released to the workforce investment boards. These grant funds are not a good source for wage replacement, but can assist with purchasing supplies and/or equipment to allow continued business operations and avoid layoffs.
