She received her yoga training at Authentic Yoga Teacher Training and Arizona Vedic Chant in Scottsdale\, Arizona\, and her naturopathic medical training at Sonoran University of Health Sciences in Tempe\, Arizona. She is currently working on her PhD in the Quantum Science of Integrative Medicine through the University of Technology in Jaipur\, India. \n

DESCRIPTION:Spend an evening being amateur archaeologists while learning about Oregon’s archaeological history! August 14\, the Southern Oregon Historical Society partners with the Southern Oregon University Laboratory of Anthropology (SOULA)\, the Medford Bureau of Land Management (BLM)\, Crater Rock Museum\, and the Oregon Chinese Diaspora Project for our third annual “Archaeology Night.” at SOHS Hanley Farm. \nThere will be Archaeology 101 activities\, including: artifact cross-mending\, build-your-own stratigraphy jars\, compass-reading\, try your hand at the ancient art of atlatl throwing\, or test your animal bone knowledge with our “Faunal Matching” game. Hear about the latest finds from this summer’s “Public Archaeology and Remote Sensing” field school\, and enjoy the pop-up exhibit about the award-winning Oregon Chinese Diaspora Project.
