SUMMARY:Sunday Worship Service
DESCRIPTION:CC’s Core Commitments: (i.e.\, why do we exist?)\nExalt:\nThe church exists as a worshipping community that exalts the Lord. Since He chose and predestined sons unto Himself in Christ to the praise of the glory of His grace\, this Body of believers seeks to render supreme worth to Him who called us into fellowship with Himself and His people. We strive to be God-centered in what we believe and how we behave (see Eph 1; Jn 4; Rev 4\, 5\, 19\, 21-22). \nEquip:\nCentral to our gathering together is the expositional preaching and teaching of the Word\, that which is inspired\, inerrant\, authoritative\, and sufficient. Since God’s Word and His Spirit are the means God uses to adequately equip His Church for lives of godliness\, we seek to explain what God means by what He has said\, and train others to diligently study and teach the Bible (see Eph 4:11-12; 2 Tim 3:16-17; 4:2; 2 Pet 1:3-4). \nEvangelize:\nThe Church’s central mission\, which we cannot do in heaven\, is evangelize the world\, offering them hope for this life and eternity as they turn from their sin and place their faith in Christ alone. We announce that Christ has made redemption through His blood and that by repentance and faith you can receive remission of sins and entrance into the kingdom of God (see Matt 28:18-20; Acts 1:8; Rom 1:16-17; 10:11-15). \nYou may be wondering what a person should look for in a church. Rather than the idea of “what do I want to see in a church” perhaps we should be considering what God’s wants in His Church. We believe that the Lord has not been silent on the matter. In fact\, we believe their as several distinguishing marks of church health that the Word of God addresses. We’d love for you to consider listening to a brief Adult Sunday School series that addresses some of the often neglected features that contribute to church health and would also be foundational in our attempt towards being a biblical church.\n1. Sound Doctrine\n2. Expository Preaching\n3. A Biblical Understanding of the Good News\n4. A Biblical Understanding of Conversion\n5. A Biblical Understanding of Evangelism\n6. SUMMARY:Author Talk: The Village Healers Book of Cures by Jennifer Sherman Roberts
DESCRIPTION:Acclaimed author Jennifer Sherman Roberts\, PhD in Renaissance literature from the University of Minnesota\, presents an enthralling Book Talk on Sunday\, November 5\, from 2 – 4 pm. Join us as she delves into the pages of her latest novel\, “The Village Healers Book of Cures\,” set in seventeenth-century England—a gripping tale of murder\, revenge\, and the perilous power of knowledge. \n“The Village Healers Book of Cures” follows the journey of Mary Fawcett\, a skilled healer who refines the age-old recipes passed down through generations of women. Her healing prowess\, however\, attracts the attention of witchfinder Matthew Hopkins\, who kindles fear and suspicion in the small village. SUMMARY:Register for the upcoming ICF CCE hours for ACC\, PCC\, and MCC credentials
DESCRIPTION:Continuing coach education (CCE) for International Coaching Federation’s (ICF) credentialed coaches is intended to provide supplemental and continuing education for those wishing to acquire new learning\, professional development\, and renewing their ICF credentials. ICF CCE hours allow mentee coaches to get CCE units for ICF core competencies\, and resource development. Accumulated ICF CCE hours can be used to achieve credentials for ACC (Associate Certified Coach)\, PCC (Professional Certified Coach)\, and MCC (Master Coach). All these credentials need to be renewed every three years\, and generally CCE hours are preferred by coaches to renew their credentials.
