Since He chose and predestined sons unto Himself in Christ to the praise of the glory of His grace\, this Body of believers seeks to render supreme worth to Him who called us into fellowship with Himself and His people. We strive to be God-centered in what we believe and how we behave (see Eph 1; Jn 4; Rev 4\, 5\, 19\, 21-22). \nEquip:\nCentral to our gathering together is the expositional preaching and teaching of the Word\, that which is inspired\, inerrant\, authoritative\, and sufficient. Since God’s Word and His Spirit are the means God uses to adequately equip His Church for lives of godliness\, we seek to explain what God means by what He has said\, and train others to diligently study and teach the Bible (see Eph 4:11-12; 2 Tim 3:16-17; 4:2; 2 Pet 1:3-4). \nEvangelize:\nThe Church’s central mission\, which we cannot do in heaven\, is evangelize the world\, offering them hope for this life and eternity as they turn from their sin and place their faith in Christ alone. The music helped us get through it. Revisit those times with a writer who covered counterculture and music with press credentials and a backstage pass. James Pagliasotti was the first rock & roll columnist for the Denver Post\, where he covered music and counterculture from 1968-1974. He has written for Rolling Stone magazine and numerous other publications\, and is the author of three books\, including the one this presentation is drawn from.

SUMMARY:SOCAN’s Master Climate Protector Course
DESCRIPTION:SOCAN is offering a 10-week\, 30-hour course beginning February 6\, 2023 and ending April 17 (No class on Presidents’ Day February 20). This course will be held in-person on Mondays at the RCC/SOU Higher Education center in Medford. The course is limited to 20 participants and is offered annually. Cost: $100 (scholarships available).
