DESCRIPTION:Applegate After Dark presents “The Twilight Zone: Birds\, Bats\, and Beyond.” \nThe evening will begin with introductory remarks from Applegate After Dark\, Pollinator Project Rogue Valley\, and the Medford District Bureau of Land Management. Once the sky is dark enough\, a BLM biologist will lead a bat walk and PPRV will run a demonstration on the marvel of moths. DESCRIPTION:Poetry for the People\, a project started by Lisa Baldwin (Josephine County) and Seth Kaplan (Jackson County)\, has their culminating celebration of a six-month series of readings and open mic sharing of poems meant to defend our democracy\, encourage civil discussion\, and bring us together in community. Three events have taken place in Jackson County and three in Josephine County.
